Mateo – Taurasi DOCG
Dal grande vitigno a bacca nera Aglianico deriva il Taurasi DOCG, uno dei più rinomati vini rossi italiani, caratterizzato da una struttura molto importante. Il vino Taurasi DOCG deve essere sottoposto a un periodo di invecchiamento obbligatorio di almeno tre anni di cui di cui almeno dodici mesi in botti di legno. E’ proprio grazie a questa sua caratteristica che riesce ad invecchiare bene anche per molti anni, guadagnandone in complessità ed eleganza. È di colore rosso rubino, tendente al granato con tendenza aranciata. Al naso il profumo è caratteristico, fine, vinoso; si colgono aromi di tabacco, pepe, chiodi di garofano e rosa secca. All’assaggio è asciutto, pieno e persistente, con il tannino in evidenza che tende sempre più ad ingentilirsi con il passare degli anni.
